Address: ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 3 , 66-220 Łagów
A castle from the 17th century. It is located on a hill between two lakes: Łagowskie and Trześniowski. Is the main tourist attraction of Lagow. The restored is now a compact complex with an extremely stylish character. A wide staircase leads straight to the glass-covered Renaissance-Baroque courtyard, which is the heart of the castle. Beautifully adapted, decorated with abundant greenery of plants, it now serves as a ballroom. It is a place at the same time beautiful and functional, and the light that comes in abundantly means that even on cloudy or frosty days it is pleasantly bright and warm here. Inside the castle there are tastefully furnished hotel rooms, a knights' hall for disputes and meetings, as well as a cafe and restaurant. It is also worth climbing the top of the castle tower, from which there is a charming view of the town, lakes and surrounding forests. From here you can admire the unusual variety of forms of rich vegetation contrasting with the reds of the gentian roofs and the emerald tiles of both lakes. The castle complex also includes a park with numerous natural monuments descending to the lake itself, with a summer stage and amphitheater, which in summer attracts tourists taking place here annually film festivals.
