A baroque palace located in the southeastern part of the city of Żagań. The impressive building currently serves as the Żagań Palace of Culture. The palace was once considered one of the most magnificent German residences, being a meeting place for aristocrats. The palace in Żagań consists of three floors. The building is preceded by two stone bridges running through a dry moat. Stone portals tower over the entrances to the palace. The window openings of the building are topped with mascarons, cornices modeled on sketches by Leonardo da Vinci and French designs. The lower floor at basement level and basement is a rusticated plinth in which window openings with frames are placed. The window frames are made of heavy stone blows. The cornice is in white, the walls of the first floor of the first floor are in yellow, while all other architectural details are in gray. The palace has a terrace located on the roof of the conservatory, which was located between two driveways. The palace is surrounded by a vast landscape park, within which an educational trail has been created. Numerous concerts and cultural events take place here. The most important of them are: - Żagania Championships in Grilling, - Polish Archery Tournament for Golden Mascaron, - Żagań caroling, - Dance Championships.
